What are the Summer Session dates for 2025?
Summer Session runs June 14–22, 2025 on the Principia College campus in Elsah, IL.
Who is eligible to apply for Summer Session?
Principia welcomes all adult Christian Scientists, Principia alumni, and friends.
How much does Summer Session cost?
Registration will open in January with tuition rates, course descriptions, and more.

WHEN SHOULD I PLAN TO ARRIVE AND DEPART?
We are offering one eight-day session for all participants. Please arrive in St. Louis or Elsah on Saturday, June 14. Rooms are available for check in after 2 p.m. Dinner begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday. If you choose airport transportation when you register, a PLL representative will greet you at Lambert St. Louis International Airport in the baggage claim area and help with your luggage. Our shuttle service will run between 7 a.m.–9 p.m. on June 14. Please schedule your flight to arrive during this window if possible.
Departure day for Summer Session is Sunday, June 22. Please try to schedule your departure flight for after 9 a.m. If you would like to stay for the church service on Sunday, please book a flight to depart after 2:30 p.m. All guests need to check out of their rooms by Noon and depart campus by 2 p.m. If you are driving, please plan to check out by Noon.
I PLAN TO ATTEND SUMMER SESSION, WHAT'S NEXT?
Registration will open in January 2025.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Pets are not allowed in dorms, buildings, or classrooms.
DO GUESTS NEED TO SUPPLY THEIR OWN BOOKS AND STUDY MATERIALS?
Some books may be suggested by faculty, but none are required. Some classes may have a materials fee. You will receive an email from the PLL office by April 1, if one of your courses requires a materials fee.
ARE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes, these options are available. Please specify your preferences when you register for Summer Session.
IS AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE?
Yes, shuttle transportation from St. Louis Lambert International Airport to the College is available for an additional charge. Please sign up for a shuttle when you register for Summer Session. If you need to add shuttle transportation to your reservation email pll@principia.edu.
