Abbott C. Jones

Abbott C. Jones (US’52, C’56), former President and Chief Operating Officer of Foote, Cone & Belding Communications and founding partner of AdMedia Partners Inc., is the 2017 DKA Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.

Abbott Jones’s 29-year career in advertising included serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB) Communications, one of the largest advertising agencies in the world during his tenure there. Previously, he was president of FCB's Associated Companies, responsible for building its strong position in specialized communications. After leaving FCB, Jones founded AdMedia Partners Inc., where he advised the owners of many of the best-known independent agencies and holding companies in the U.S., representing them in transactions and advising them on strategic issues. Along with his BA from Principia College, Jones holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
