Coach Larry Gerber

Following graduation, Larry coached football, basketball, baseball, and tennis at Principia from 1949 to 1960. Later, he returned to the College to coach men’s tennis from 1981 until his retirement in 1993. During this time, he coached six NCAA Division III All-Americans.

From 1988 to 1993, he also served as athletic director and was instrumental in the formation of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC). He was inducted into the SLIAC Hall of Fame in 1993.
