"I learned so much about how to handle feeling ‘tired,’ about the uplifting effects of unselfishness, and about how a higher concept of purpose provides better motivation and discipline."

Chris was a four-time qualifier for the NCAA Division III National Swimming Championships. An All-American for three years, with a second place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke his senior year, Chris was Principia’s first NCAA All-American swimmer and the 1988 winner of the Howard L. Mitchell Athletic Award. Two decades after graduating, he still holds five school records and is ranked among Principia’s Top Ten in seven individual events and three relays.
