Principia Response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton

Our love and prayers go out to all those impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We are communicating with our alumni and friends, as well as Christian Science churches across the nation, regarding Principia’s desire to offer educational assistance to our alumni families and friends, and the wider Christian Science community.

Please share the information below with your friends and family to help spread the word about Principia’s readiness to provide support:

Tuition-free Enrollment and Room and Board (for the 2024–2025 academic year): As space permits, both Principia School and Principia College will welcome qualified students of alumni and friends' families, as well as Christian Science students who may be displaced or are in areas where schools and colleges may not be operational.

Principia School is accepting students in K–12 immediately. Grades 8–12 may also board on campus. For assistance and information, contact Director of Admission Ginger Roth at ginger.roth@principia.edu or (314) 514-3188.

Principia College is accepting students starting in the spring semester (January 2025), including room and board on campus. For assistance and information for college-age students, contact Dean of Admissions Rachael Stock at dean.admissions@principia.edu or (618) 374-5181.

As Mary Baker Eddy states, “Thus founded upon the rock of Christ, when storm and tempest beat against this sure foundation, you, safely sheltered in the strong tower of hope, faith, and Love, are God’s nestlings; and He will hide you in His feathers till the storm has passed” (Miscellaneous Writings 1883–1896, p. 152).

Thank you for joining in prayerfully supporting all those affected by these storms.
