Reed Newland (C'97)

Reed still holds the College record in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly and as a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team. In all, he set 16 school records, six as an individual (in the 200- and 500-yard free and the 100- and 200-yard fly) and 10 as a member of a relay team (in the 200-, 400-, and 800-yard free relays and the 200-yard medley). Reed qualified for Nationals twice and is a four-time NCAA DIII All-American. He finished 5th at Nationals in the 200-yard butterfly his senior year.
