Peter Mehring (US’83, C’87)

Peter’s race times are hard to beat. His name appears on four of Principia’s individual-event Top Ten lists—for the 50-yard freestyle, the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke, and the 200-yard individual medley. In addition, he appears multiple times on the relay Top Ten lists—for the 400- and 800-yard freestyle and the 400-yard medley. Most notably, Peter was on the team that still holds Principia’s 400-yard medley record—a record set over 25 years ago.

Peter competed in the NCAA Division III Championships in two individual events his senior year—the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke, placing 10th and 11th respectively. He earned All-American honors that year as well.

Since graduating, Peter has pursued a career in real estate sales.
