Lyn Gerber (US'72, C'76)

In more than 25 years of coaching women’s tennis, Lyn took four teams to NCAA Division III Nationals, earning 7th place once, 3rd place twice, and 1st place once for the 1983 team, which was undefeated at Nationals. Individually, her athletes captured three NCAA singles titles and four NCAA doubles titles; six players were named All-Americans. She was inducted into the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Hall of Fame in 2016. Beyond Principia, Lyn co-founded and led the Gateway Confluence Wheelchair Sports Foundation, directed the USTA National Indoor Wheelchair Tennis Championship, and coached the 2000–01 U.S. Women’s Wheelchair Tennis Team and Paralympic Women’s Wheelchair Tennis Team.
