Lewis Howes (US'01, C'05)

A two-sport athlete, Lewis set an NCAA All-Division record for receiving yards in one game (418 yards) in the 2002 football season. He was also named to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference 1st Team as a wide receiver that year and as a defensive back the following year. In track and field, Lewis set school records in the high jump, pole vault, discus, javelin, and decathlon. He was named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association 1st Team in 2004 for jumps and in 2005 for throws. He also earned NCAA DIII All-American track and field honors in 2005. Later, Lewis played professional football as well as professional handball in Spain and on the USA Men’s National Handball Team.
