“As a Principia athlete, I spent dedicated time in prayer before any competition and focused my mind on the real reason to compete—letting your light shine so that others can see the strength of God.”

After graduating from the Upper School, Kathleen began a record-setting, four-year career in track at Principia College. In her freshman year, she qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the triple jump. She placed eighth, earning All-American recognition, and went on to qualify for Nationals for the next three years. Along with her accomplishments in the triple jump, Kathleen competed in the long jump, 4x100 relay, and the 100-meter dash. She still holds the College record for the triple jump and long jump. Along with her individual accomplishments and awards, the track team won several championships during her career.
