Because of his significant accomplishments at Principia Upper School and Junior College, as well as the national honors he achieved after leaving Principia, Eddie Kaw is one of the few athletes mentioned in As the Sowing: The First Fifty Years of The Principia.

After graduating, Eddie moved on to Cornell, earning consensus All-American honors during two undefeated football seasons and induction into the Cornell University Hall of Fame as well as the College Football Hall of Fame.
