Ben Crandell (US'99, C'03)
A standout tennis player in both singles and doubles, Ben made a memorable impact on Principia’s tennis program. Three-time team captain (2001–2003) and first team All-Conference at both #1 singles (2000–2002) and #1 doubles (2002 and 2003), Ben was also a two-time St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Player of the Year. He qualified three times in the NCAA Division III Tournament (2001–2003) and completed his college career ranked 23rd nationally and 7th in the Midwest and having achieved 87 singles career wins. Ben received Principia’s Willard and Corde Hanzlik Award in 2003. In 2013, he was inducted into the SLIAC Hall of Fame.
