Bertram Clark Jr.
". . .competitive athletics offers possibilities of great value because you have to give your best in competition."
A member of two undefeated football teams, Bert also coached the 1933 team during its perfect—undefeated, untied, never scored upon—season. In 1986, Principia’s football field was named in his honor. After graduating from Principia (a junior college at the time), Bert went on to star in football at the University of Missouri and is a member of their Hall of Fame.
