John Abdelnour (C'97)

For John, success has always been about going the distance. Over his four years of competition, he set school records in the 500, 1000, and 1650 freestyle events and was part of a lightning-fast relay team that shattered four out of five school relay records. John’s individual freestyle records in the 200, 500, 1000, 1650, and 800 free relay still stand, and in other relay events, his times have secured him several spots in Principia’s Top Ten All-Time list. John was named team MVP in 1994 and received the Coach’s Award in 1996.
