2004 Women's Soccer Team

With a 16–4–1 record overall and a 12–1–1 in Conference play, the 2004 women’s soccer team made history as the first women’s soccer team in Principia College history to win a bid to the NCAA National Tournament. The team’s highlights and accolades showcase team success, individual effort, and overall character: St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) tournament champions; NCAA Division III playoffs, second round; eight players achieving SLIAC All-Conference first team, second team, and honorable mention; and Coach Lee Ellis recognized as SLIAC Coach of the Year. This team also achieved the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award.
