The Principia Alumni Office seeks to recognize alumni who are representing their alma mater in extraordinary ways and is committed to a process of inclusive excellence in selecting awards recipients.
David K. Andrews Distinguished Alumni Award
The David K. Andrews Distinguished Alumni Award (affectionately known as the DKA Award) recognizes alumni who have rendered outstanding service to others through professional or civic contributions or through distinguished service to the Cause of Christian Science and/or to Principia. It honors the spirit and example set by David K. Andrews, who served Principia for decades in a variety of roles, including teacher, coach, principal, headmaster, and president of both campuses.
Gold & Blue Athletic Hall of Fame Award
Principia’s Gold & Blue athletic awards acknowledge coaches, teams, and athletes who have made exceptional contributions to the history of Principia College athletics. Every two years, the Gold & Blue Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes inductees during Gold & Blue Homecoming Weekend.
1906 Alumni Achievement Award
Introduced in 2024, the 1906 Alumni Achievement Award recognizes exceptional contributions and achievements by Upper School and/or College alumni in any profession or within their community who display loyalty to the ideals of character and conduct.
Young Alumni Achievement Award
Introduced in 2024, the Young Alumni Achievement Award recognizes career achievements and outstanding civic, cultural, or professional contributions by Upper School and/or College alumni who have graduated within the past 15 years.
