Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you making the call so early?
The safety and peace of mind of our participants and community are our top priority. We are adhering to local health department guidelines and exercising an abundance of caution. Events like these entail a significant amount of advance planning—both on the part of Principia and those in attendance. With that in mind, and out of consideration for everyone involved, we felt this decision needed to be made early and definitively, in order to allow everyone sufficient time to plan.
What about other Principia spring/summer events (i.e., graduation)?
To keep abreast of events at Principia School and College, we recommend checking the online Update Center for the most recent information. You’re always welcome to contact the Alumni & Field Relations Office at alum@principia.edu.
Will my Summer Session deposit be refunded?
Yes, Summer Session 2021 deposits will be refunded. The Principia Lifelong Learning (PLL) team will be in touch with all registered Summer Session guests regarding refunds.
Will there be virtual Summer Session offerings in 2021?
Yes! The PLL team is currently planning virtual Summer Session offerings. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming programming.
Is this the end of Summer Session?
No! While Summer Session 2021 will consist of some virtual programming (more information will be forthcoming), we are already planning for an in-person Summer Session on the Principia College campus in June 2022.
What are the dates for Summer Session in 2022?
The tentative dates for in-person Summer Session 2022 are June 1–11, 2022.
