Jordan Poznick

“Sport is about more than yourself. . . . It’s about being responsible for others. When you’re part of a team, you’re not just preparing for yourself, you’re preparing for everybody. It’s not for individual glory.”

Jordan’s success as quarterback at Principia College earned him numerous honors. As an All-American quarterback, his junior and senior years, Jordan threw and rushed for more yards than any other player in NCAA Division III. In 1992, he rushed for 129 yards and threw for 2,618 yards; he rushed for 289 yards and threw for 2,416 yards the following year. In baseball, Jordan won All-Midwest honors and was named to the SLIAC All-Conference first team. In addition, he still holds the school record for career batting average (.429). His senior year, Jordan received the Howard L. Mitchell Athletic Award.
