Sue Godfrey Huffman

“The spiritual lessons I learned on the tennis court continue to influence me today. I know there are times when I draw strength from matches I played long ago because I remember what it took to persevere and trust.”

As a tennis player, Sue earned NCAA Division III All-American honors in singles in 1986, 1987, and 1988 and in doubles in 1987 and 1988. She teamed up with 2006 Hall of Fame Inductee Courtney Allen to win the Division III doubles championship in 1986 and 1987. During her senior year, she was a quarterfinalist in singles. Sue was also a member of the 1985 women’s tennis team that finished third at the NCAA Division III Tournament.
